Sequel? The Girl with No Shadow
Does anyone know if a movie will be made of Joanne Harris's sequel novel, The Girl with No Shadow? I would love to see Director, Lasse Hallström, interpret this follow-up story.
shareIt was published here as "The Lollipop Shoes", and it's a great book :) I can't see them making a movie of it though - it's a much darker story, without the same magic/sparkle to it as the original. I'd love to see it, but I don't think it would have the same wide appeal as Chocolat. I'd love to see Jean Pierre Jeaunot take it on though, or maybe Alfonso Cuaron.
