Can anyone reccommend films that are similar to this?
Like those with an element of fairytale..

"Mistress of Spices" (Aishwarya Rai & Dylan McDermott) and "Amelie"

The movie and book are not oiginal pieces (even if the author Joanne Harris says so in her website).... She used the ideas of a book called "Like Water for Chocolate", written by Laura Esquivel. There's a movie with the same title. Try to watch it, it's better than this movie and you can find it with subtitles...

Try "Ever After." Has romance, magic, and France during the Renaissance era.
