Where did he get the pen from?????

When Jonathan is about to draw Casseopeia on Sara's arm...he gets up off the bench, goes out of shot (to what seems like a lampost) and reappears on screen with a marker pen which he then uses to connect her freckles...Where did the pen come from????

Really loved the film all in all though...

His pocket???

oh yeh...that kinda makes sense... need to watch it again...

i assumed he got it from a hot dog vendor, but whoever said he got it from the place that rents the skates is probably right.

I thought he got it from the same place he got the band aid for her scrape after she fell...which I would assume is where you would rent your skates? The editing is really weird on that shot but I've watched it many times now since it is a favorite "feel good" movie and that's what I had decided.

When they make movies there's a guy standing just out of frame who has everything the script may call for. Obviously Jonathan just went over to him and said "Hey, I need a marker pen. Fine point. Black." And the guy produced it.

You can often see this in gangster movies when the mobster needs more bullets for his gun. It's like they appear from nowhere. Actually, it's the same guy, he's just standing off camera a little.

Really.

Well, when he is bribing Eugene Levy later on in the movie to try to get her personal information and he ends up in the ridiculous purple suit he says, "I look like a magician." Maybe he actually IS a magician.

Yeah...well, that's just like your opinion, man.
