DUMBEST SCENE EVER

When "sara" is running in POURING rain and then randomly stops and tries to light a cig in monsoon-like weather. SO POINTLESS. The look on her face makes me wanna break the tv

reply

Well, the point of her stopping was that it wasn't random -- she stopped in front of the Cool Hand Luke poster.

But yes, it was kind of silly that she stopped to light a cigarette in that weather.

reply

obviously not cigarette smokers.... i have tried to light a cigarette while scuba diving....

reply

Hahaha thanks for the laugh! Yeah, been there done that and then some...

reply

This was on Bravo tonight....I'm pretty sure I caught a glimpse of an awning above her when she stopped to light the cigarette.

Second poster is right, the point of the scene was the Cool Hand Luke posters right next to her.

'Cause a cigarette smoker would never do anything pointless... lol

Or ever be so in need of a smoke that they'd be willing to do it outside in awful weather.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :)

reply

saw a guy trying to smoke and swim...smokers will do what they have to sometimes.

reply

But isn't she in like Seattle, Washington so they're probably used to running around in the rain.

reply

No, she is in San Francisco, CA. Yes, there is an awning over her when she tries to light up.

reply

1. There was an awning over her.

2. She was out of her mind and didn't think about what she did. She earlier says she put her keys in the freezer - why not call this the dumbest scene? Who would ever put his keys in the freezer?

reply

#2. She seemed to be rattled.

Can you fly this plane?
Surely you can't be serious.
I am serious,and don't call me Shirley

reply

Good film to see if you want an insight into the minds of women, but not if you want to like them as people afterwards.
