Life Imitating Art or Something...(!)
I'm British and a few weeks ago, I visited the US (specifically NYC) for the first time and had an amazing time. Those of you who are lucky enough to live there, I'm extremely envious - you live in a fantastic city.
Whilst I was there, I met a really lovely guy: Intelligent, charming and up to speed on British comedy. We talked about everything...anyway when we parted we exchanged emails and although realistically I know the chances of a trans-Atlantic relationship are slim to none, the whole experience made me think of this film which, despite all its flaws, is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. Obviously Serendipity is not the story of my life, but you get the point I'm making.
*sigh* One can only dream about what the future may hold. I guess it may just always be a memory I'll hold close to my heart. Good times. *smile*
Oh and I've just finished watching Amelie too, so right now, I'm in a romantic mood and everything is rose-coloured~
