Wallet swap

One thing I noticed that doesn't make sense is that Sara doesn't notice she has the wrong wallet until she is on the plane, but wouldn't she have at least needed to get out her ID, if not also a credit card, to check in at the airport and/or go through security?

Yeah, you have to suspend your disbelief a LOT for this movie to work at all. I try to ignore all that kind of stuff and just enjoy the charm of the leads. And Lars! Lars cracks me up.

This is a good movie, and not a great one, because of exactly what you point out. If they'd taken a little more care with making sure all the coincidences were plausible -- like Hallie buying the book -- it could have been great. Hallie bought the book because she had noticed that he was always looking for it--that was the kind of careful detail that made it seem possible. Even though it was unlikely she'd find the Sara book, it wasn't impossible, and the way they set it up made sense. Sara putting her hand on Jonathan's gum, on the other hand, not so much sense.
