Yen in the vault not touching the floor.

So hes in the vault having to back-flip onto the cabinet then make his way to the doors to set up the explosive charges so Danny and Linus can set theirs up on the other side.

This is so he doesnt touch the floor or it will set the alarms off.

So how come once the charges go off and all the rubble hits the floor and the alarms go off anyway and they walk in what was the point of avoiding touching it in the first place?

reply

Extra bit of time to pull off the robbery

But the robbery couldn't occur until they entered the vault so he could of been in the 5 hours or 5 minutes but only once the doors where blown could they proceed to rob the vault.

If Yen had touched the floor how long then to synchronise with Danny and Linus? Seconds? A minute? Two.
All valuable time maybe. You've most likely seen movies where banks are robbed and they know exactly how long response time is from the alarm going off.
If this is not a factor then, who knows why he went to all that trouble.

Exactly right.
