when they were looking at the blueprints?

I agree, as professional thieves they just know how to get information. Remember in Ocean's 12 when they said that it must have been another thief who helps Benedict track them down, not to mention all the other information that is gathered across all 3 movies. As for the second question, Danny called the guard by name and the guard called him Mr. Ocean, if I'm not mistaken. Plus, Danny said he wanted to take them in order to make copies and the guard was fine with it. If they broke in or if he didn't know them he wouldn't allow that. Hope all of this helps!
