now oceans eleven is a good movie, yes , but after rewatching the films, ocean's twelve is even better, its extremely well shot and even more funny. its not just a good movie but a very good piece of cinema. the third was entertaining but kind of rubbish.

Twelve could have been the best but the laser dancing thing was lame. That ruined it a bit for me.
To me 11 is a good starting point to be introduced to the series, as to watch 12 from the start would just be confusing within the first 15 minutes with all the plot twists in it.
Personally I think Twelve is the best all round movie in the trilogy (good story, its a hop around Europe with great locations and soundtrack is just perfect to go with it.)
I think Ocean's 12 is the best one. Ocean's 12 is one of my favorite movies. Ocean's 12 is the best at fooling the audience. Ocean's 13 is a disgrace compared to the other two. Its story revolves around a very weak premise where 11 and 12 have a great plot. The music in 12 is outstanding. 11's soundtrack is second best. 11's soundtrack is somewhat annoying because it has movie dialog on a lot of the tracks. I think critics and a lot of people are way off with 12. Even the director said it was his favorite one.

Twelve is my favorite as well. Every scene and set piece is so well and creatively crafted. It plays like an art film, you can savor every detail. Also Europe > Vegas, and the score is the best in 12 as well. I wish they would have been even more avante garde in 13, but instead they reigned it in.
I remember some RT review said 12 is the cinema-lovers movie, and I would have to agree. It's so delightful.
One of my big regrets was I did not get in to the Oceans series sooner, as I think Oceans 12 would have been fantastic to watch on the big screen.
