Dude, the truly rare thing is when a sequel is as good or better than the original. Sequels are usually terrible.

The Dark Knight, Empire Strikes Back, Revenge of the Sith (better than its two predecessors, not the original trilogy), Wrath of Khan, Every Harry Potter sequel except for Half-Blood Prince, Quite a few James Bond movies are better than Dr. No, X2: X-Men United, Spider-Man 2, Bourne Ultimatum, I prefer Crocodile Dundee 2 to the first one, Resident Evil 2, Bad Boys 2, Expendables 2, Chronicles of Riddick, Dirty Harry 2.
