Melody never learns about her 7 aunts
Anyone noticed that Ariel didn't meet her sisters when she returned to the sea and Melody doesn't get to know them either. The sisters are only at the beginning of the movie..

First off, it would be six aunts, Triton has seven daughters. If one takes into account the TV Show, then it would be six aunts and one uncle, given the fact that Urchin is technically her adopted brother.
shareyeah you're right 6 sisters... well the movie universe doesn't take the tv show into account, just look at "Ariel's beginning". Did it bother you that a scene with Ariel's sisters was missing?
shareActually, Ariel's Beginning seems more divorced from the movie universe, as there were several flaws in that movie that simply cannot connect with the original movie (such as the fact that the original movie heavily implies that the concert Ariel missed was supposed to be her stage debut with the Daughters of Triton band, which would not make any sense if she was responsible for bringing Music back to Atlantica [such a feat would actually make her the band leader.].).
sharei found it even stranger how morgana and ursula are triton's sisters
shareJust because Ursula was Triton's sister in a deleted concept (which isn't even likely to be canon anyways, as several deleted concepts usually don't end up becoming canon. Take Shaak Ti's death at the hands of General Grievous, for example) and was such in the Villain Files (which are meant to be tongue and cheek, anyhow and not likely to actually be canon. I mean, do you honestly expect Maleficent's last name to be "Faerie?") or the musical (which, again, changed so many things that its not really the same film in either case) doesn't mean they are canonically such. Besides, think about it, if they were his sisters, that would mean that their mom was Triton's mom as well, and that he ended up exiling his own mom, thus making his family, Ariel included, exceptionally dysfunctional. Then again, if it was that dysfunctional, that might explain why Ariel was eager to go to land and get away from her family.
shareYes, one would assume that any gaggle of aunts would want to see their new niece. My Mom was one of 4 sisters, and I'm sure they were eager for news of newborn bundles of joy.
Then again, remember that LM2 ignores plenty of story rules and layouts from the first one.
"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."

Well she also didn't know King Triton was her grandfather until Morgana mentioned it.
