Your Favorite Rory Moments

There's way too much negativity about Rory, so I thought this would be a good idea. She's not all bad. Personally, I'd rate her as my 3rd favorite Character right after Paris and Lorelai.

Here are some of my favorite Moments of Rory- 1 for each season :

Season 1 :

Her Freakout when she was late to the Shakespear test. "For the last time, the name, is RORY!"

Season 2 :

I liked the whole rant after she missed Lorelai's graduation about being ill and grounding herself for 7 months. Alexis did good during that scene.

Season 3 :

Obviously, the graduation speech.

Season 4 :

Ugh, this season! I really liked her at the Spring Break, though.

Season 5 :

"Buttfaced Miscreant"

Season 6 :

She finally apologizes to Lorelai, goes back to Yale, moves out of the grandparents'

Season 7 :

"Stop sniffing me!"

Revival :

When she called Paris a pop up book from hell and most of their verbal sparring in the Chilton years. I love the episode when they go see The Bangles and she initially bonds with Madeleine and Louise.

"When life gives you lemons"
Jessica D: sleep with their fathers and have secret lemon children

When Rory and Logan are about to do the stunt at the Life and Death Brigade gathering and she turns to him and says "You Jump I jump Jack."

Also when she works hard to get a job at the Stamford Gazzette and then when she finally gets offered a job she says "Thank you boss I won't let you down boss. Wait your not going to have to fire Harry are you?"

When she thanks Dean after she has her first kiss in the market. And then Dean thanks her when they kiss after watching the movie at the house. Also when Dean gives her the bracelet. Also when she freaks out because Dean is on the bus she takes to go to Chilton. All the awkward times she had with Dean in season 1.

At the end of the pilot at Luke's where Rory orders coffee and chili fries and she tells Luke it's too late she is just like her mom. Also in the pilot when Richard hands a section of the paper to Rory to read.

When she takes care of Logan after his accident in season 6. Her being mad at Mitchum for mentioning her in a WSJ article as an implied feather in his cap. And her reaction to it was kind of funny.

Her putting together the London themed going away party for Logan.

Rory taking the lead on getting the paper out at the last hour.

Her accepting Lukes gift at her party at the Gilmore House and then telling the DAR ladies it was a gift from her stepfather to be.

When she takes Logan on a tour of Stars Hollow, all the epic town history.

Rory and Logan talking Econ after Richards heart attack and they are getting his things.

I don't think there's too much negativity about Rory, but I'll play along, lol. My favorite episode is when Rory and Paris go on Spring break together. Paris brings out the best in Rory. I wish they had stayed the entire time, though. If you get a hangover during vacation, you just drink the next day :) I also liked the Donna Reed episode, that was funny.

For me it's

Season 1 The Bangles episode

Season 2 Lorelai"s graduation episode.

Season 3 Dance Marathon.

Season 4 The episode where Rory and Paris go to Florida.

Season 5 The Party"s Over.

Season 6 Friday nights alright for fighting.

Season 7 Gilmore Girls Only.

I like the Rory criticism, it's why I come here. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

I actually did like one Rory scene in the revival. When she says goodbye to the boys, she does it like she's Dorothy leaving Oz. Maybe it's because I've always loved the Wizard of Oz, but that part made me laugh out loud. I really liked it. It was the funniest part to me.

I definitely love Rory. I see so much of myself on her. But yes I come here and criticize her just as much as anyone else. She is a character full of fault. Anyway I love your idea for this forum.

"I got hit by a deer!"

"You jump I jump, jack"

When she saves the paper after Paris loses it.

Her arguing with Emily in the "Friday Night is Alright for fighting" episode
