yo is this show CRITICIZING broken homes

all the people in this show from broken homes are MESSED UP!

I would argue that just about ever main character in this show is messed up, no matter what kind of home they come from. Lorelai, Rory, Emily, Richard, Luke, Paris, Jess, Dean, Logan, Lane, Chris... they all have some pretty major issues, I'd say. Maybe not Sookie, but she's got her own stuff for sure.

I would say Lorelei is the person with the most issues and she isn't from the a broken home.

Maybe looking to much into it?

um yeah remember her parents were separated for a while so yeah she also came from a broken home

She was an adult when that happened to her, it had little affect in her. She is not from a broken home.

it doesn't matter WHEN her home became broken! it just matters that it was broken! lorelai is from a broken home!
