did Luke want to have sexual intercourse with Rory
even in season 1 he gave off a weird vibe around Rory

shareYour username literally says known troll, but I'm gonna comment on this.
If Gilmore Girls was on some other network, that would have happened. Not with Luke, but the story-line. Because the age difference is not significant, Lorelai and Rory could have at one point dated the same guy.
I've considered Luke being possessive when it comes to Rory as being weird, but never because I thought he likes her like that. It was always more of a big brother/ fatherly possessiveness, which was still sort of weird.
Also, they don't give off that vibe. At all. There is a vibe, but not a sexual one. Just a weird one... and I blame the actors. Both of them. lol
I don't think Alexis and Scott were comfortable in their scenes togather, especially the few times they had to hug. The only vibe I got was awkwardness. The writers should have recognized their lack of chemistry and not written Luke as having such strong paternal feelings towards her.
shareTo be fair, Alexis hugs almost everyone like that. (Except Lauren, and that's only because, I suspect, she felt most comfortable with her since she had most of her scenes with her and Lauren sort of took her under her wing. ) Alexis always looks really awkward and like she's tolerating the hugs instead of actually participating in them. I thought it would get better, but in the first 20 minutes of the revival there were two odd hugs: One with Luke and one with Paul. The Paul one was awful.
Good point! I definitely agree that she feels awkward a lot of the time with some of the other actors. I mean it makes sense. This was Alexis first acting job and it was a big one!
In reality I think she's a very shy person. Which I think makes acting very hard for her at times.
Actually, it feels to me as if Alexis is chronically awkward in her scenes with almost everyone in the cast. One of the things that I find most annoying are her kissing scenes; she limply drapes her arms around the (every) guy's neck and proceeds to kiss him as if he's a cardboard cutout. I'm not expecting a scene from "Body Heat", just not something that takes me back to my 10th grade drama class. I'm sure she's a nice person and I'll admit I've never seen any of her work but this, but I don't find her to be a very good actress.
As to the Luke/Rory vibe; I never found any creepy sex vibe there - just more awkwardness.
Mmmm do you mean somewhere in between their ages? Like a man who was 10 years older than Rory and 6 years younger than Lorelei? Or something like that?
If Gilmore Girls was a sitcom I can see that happening. Definitely. Once Rory hit college or maybe when she turned 20.
Of course never with Luke. Luke watched her grow and was a brother or father or uncle to her. Of course you pointed this out.
