Did anyone notice the large mistake where Ruby mentions how she noticed Liz on the "facebook thing?' but the movie takes place in the 1980s?
did i miss something or was that just a complete miss?
The social networking website called facebook was created in 2004, Prozac Nation was filmed in 2001, so obviously they were not talking about the internet website especially since it would be historically inaccurate.
By facebook, they mean a yearbook-like book colleges used to put out of the incoming freshmen. It was a method for students to get to know each other.
AH well that makes sense why Facebook.com was named such and originally for college students. thanks

I'm a junior now, but when I was a freshman we all recieved Facebooks, I still have mine.
