The Boy Who Would Be Queen

True story, I was 14 when that episode aired; I remember being so offended by the episode, to the point where I wanted to contact Butch Hartman. Yeah, back in 2002, this was considered offensive to me, at the time. Nowadays, I kinda like this episode. This of course is coming from someone who is kinda trans in a way. When I was 14, I didn't believe in reincarnation, yet. That didn't happen until I was a little older. Around the time I was 14, I had issues with gender; so it's easy to see why this episode offended me the way it did as a teenager.

This is in no way a bad episode. This is one of the golden age episodes (2001-2004) kinda like with Spongebob, but I had issues with it, back in the day. This also happened with other kids shows as well that had similar "gender bender" episodes such as Codename Kids Next Door and Wizards of Waverly Place where some dude gets turned into a girl via magic or technology. It just didn't bode with me.
