the last scene there is a foot print left by Baran and i was wandering if this could of meant a sign saying that she would be back. I guess that being the oldest daughter it meant a lot to leave her father to take care of her smaller sibilings. Also Latif smiled at the end when he saw the foot print.

I was wondering the same thing, I don't know but I think when you love someone so much everything that they have just makes you happy, in this case it's the footprint. I think the footprint is a proof that reminds Lateef about Baran's presence and that made him smile. Remember when he just brushed off the mud off off Baran's shoes with his hands as if it was nothing. I bet he would eat the mud if it's necessary.. lol
