Birdwell Island seems like paradise...

Really, it seems almost perfect. Perfect weather, perfect people (except Jetta and Mac), and to spice it up a big red friendly dog. If there were such a place, I'd definitely go live there. Who's with me?

It certainly is a cool place for dogs. Clifford, Cleo and T Bone have free run of the place with no fences, leash laws or dog catchers to trouble them. Ah, to have the life of such a dog.

birdwell island is norman bridwell's version of his home island, martha's vineyard. i'm sure martha's vineyard is a paradise. (i've never been there.) the vineyard is a pretentious chi chi paradise for the rich. but scruffier, more working class parts of massachusetts (like my hometown, holyoke) are also "paradisical." you don't have to have lots of money to live in paradise. some people may knock it, but massachusetts is heaven on earth............................

I always wondered how they would have dealt Clifford's"waste products" but since its a children program it isn't a worry
