but I think he pulled it off...I loved when the guy compliments his shoes and he says all cocky "yeah thanks I know"

Wayne Enterprises buys and sells companies like Stark Industries

He also played a character pretending to have diminished capacities in Primal Fear in 1996.

Edward Norton as a retard was the best acting of this movie. Excellently pulled off.
He is a great actor.

There's a problem with your statement.
Ed Norton wasn't acting the part of a retard.
He was acting the part of a thief. The thief was the one acting like a retard.
So the problem is, you think the acting is incredible right? Acting only someone like Ed Norton could do right?
So how does the thief character do such an incredible job playing a retard?
The answer is, he shouldn't have.
It's a few layers deep but if they wanted to make the film more realistic
it wouldn't be such an amazing "excellently pulled off" acting job.

I personally don't want movies that are terribly realistic. I don't think that is their purpose, which is why you will almost never see such a thing. Who would watch?

A main point in the film is that Ed Norton's character is ever so smart and clever, able to pull off the retard scam like a real slick dude, and ends up being too effin' smart for his own good, pawned by Robert DeNiro with his slow and cautious old-hand approach. It's a Hollywood morality tale and there's not much realism involved. Pure escapism. Loved it.

I did not say this. I am not here.

Wonderful acting, Ed Norton is top of the acting tree. The vocals were brilliant.
