I've been trying to figure out what De Niro used to blow open the safe. My guess is metallic potassium because it's so explosive when exposed to water. It would be easier to get than dynamite or C4, plus the water would protect the scepter from damage.

What is the prevailing theory? Does anyone have any other ideas?
