Sequel to Halloween Resurrection. Ignore Halloween remake and H2

Michael Myers still alive in ending and then they never make sequel H9 because Rob Zombie's all his fault. I hate remake

Too much time has passed and the principals, Hartnett, Williams, LL, even Bianca and Busta, have all moved on and some out, of the acting business. The story is 14+ years old now. Sure, they can go back to the past, but with recasts? No go. 6 was hated for a recast Jamie. Plus with 2 other movies after it, it's hard to bridge that gap.

Right now their best hope is like Returns, direct sequel to II and a short time later, the past, and Michael stalking babysitters.

It was a long wait for 2018 but I'm so glad the franchise doesn't end with the Busta Rhymes abomination. I just finished a marathon and I watched the opening scene of Resurrection then skipped to movie 9. It's the way to go.
