Halloween Bloodline fan fiction
This what I created post Resurrection and my own way of tying 4-6 in a logical way the best way possible though I am still writing it.
Halloween Bloodline
Tagline: It’s the year 2018; 55 years after Michael first attacked Judith as a child and 40 years after Michael’s first reign of terror in Haddonfield. Now Laurie’s son John comes out of hiding to finish what his mother start and as he learns about his past history, he also uncovers a dark conspiracy that would forever change everything he knew about Michael and protects the last of his bloodline.
Picking up shortly after the events of Resurrection, Michael reawakens in the morgue killing the woman attendant and escapes. 16 years later, it is the year 2018, 55 years after Michael’s attack on Judith and 40 years after his first reign of Terror in 1978. Haddonfield has changed a lot since that time, since the old Meyers house which was previously set to be demolished because of the past traumas it caused instead has become a historical landmark museum tourist attraction. There are protestors by the house, who want the house torn down since they feel it is a reminder of Michael’s terror which brings about constant pain.
Meanwhile former Hillcrest security guard Ronny Jones, who has since become a famous mystery author after his ordeal with Michael Meyers back in 1998 though never encountering him in person, is interviewed on television by former Dangertainment host Freddie Harris about Michael Meyers and how the 40th anniversary of the attacks is recently approaching. Ronny says that being a survivor changed his life and gave him a sense of purpose and clarity and even wrote a fictionalized version of the hillcrest events 20 years earlier and one of the main characters seems to have a striking resemblance to Laurie’s son John. Freddie mentions to Ronny has he ever considered that his book might be exploited people’s pain especially those that encountered Michael Meyers himself and managed to survive the ordeal since Freddie remembers the vivid details from 2002 when he encountered the boogeyman. Ronnie insists that his work is pure fiction and it is not his intention to hurt anyone.
All of the sudden, Laurie’s son John appears in the audience now 37 years of age, the same age Laurie was 20 years earlier when she saw her brother berates Ronnie for exploiting his pain for profit and reminds how painful it was for him when his mother is killed and constantly having to be reminded that one day his uncle might return for him. Realizing that he might have unintentionally hurt someone dearest to him, Ronnie tells Freddie to cut the show which he agrees to telling the audience that time has run out. Ronnie follows John backstage and tells him that he was just on Freddie’s show to promote his book and tells him that he won’t do anything to hurt him. John tells Ronnie that he read his book and recalls the details of it, and mentions that after Michael killed Laurie, that he decided to become a grief counselor specializing in trauma victims and vowed that he won’t let the same thing happen to him to someone else again.
John tells Ronnie that losing his mom nearly destroyed him but thanks Molly for sticking by his side and even helping him through his ordeal kept his sanity intact and being a parent makes him appreciate the things his mother did for him but still wonders if there was something that she was hiding for him from and walks away. Freddie notices John and tells him that he understands the pain of surviving the boogeyman along with Sara who moved away from Haddonfield after the ordeal but John remembers that Dangertainment was just another way of exploiting pain but Freddie says he was a different man then than he is now. John remains unconvinced of the truthfulness of Freddie’s statement and tells him to *beep* off.
Ronny explains to Freddie that John is a decent guy but the 20th anniversary of his encounter of his uncle fast approaching is a very painful experience for him which is something he doesn’t like talking about. Ronny gets a phone call from his wife Shirley who reminds him of his anniversary plans and tells Freddie that he hopes to catch up with him again and tells him thanks for the interview. Sometime later, Ronnie approaches his home with flowers in his hand in hopes of surprising his wife, but instead is horrified over the blood splattered all over the walls and sees the remains of his wife on the kitchen floor with stab marks all over her body. Ronnie notices strange cult members with dark hooded robes from Curse of Michael Myers telling him that it was unwise to exploit people’s pain for triumph and now the consequences of his actions must be paid in blood but ask him if he knows where John is. Ronny refuses to spill John’s whereabouts telling them to *beep* off and that he would rather die than betray his friend.
One of the cult members approaches him who look elderly than the other members and the figure reveals him to be none other than Terrance Wynn who was long thought to be dead stares at him telling him that when the late Sam Loomis refused to be Michael’s guardian, he had his old friend killed making it look like an accident and will do the same to him if he doesn’t tell him where Jamie’s son Stephen is. Ronny looks at him with puzzlement wondering who that is. Terrence tells Ronny that he is of no use to him and he feels a strange presence behind him and turns around to see that it is none other than Michael himself. Ronnie stares in disbelief stating that it is impossible and before he can react, Michael ends up brutally stabbing him before he can defend himself. Terrence tells Michael that they will have to find the boy himself and kill anyone that gets in their way while Michael stares at him with cold stare breathing heavy and looks at Ronny before taking off. Terrence tells his followers to torch the house and leave no traces of an attack.
John visits the grave of his mother at Haddonfield cemetery as a way of coping with the 40th anniversary of her attacks and asks his mother for some guidance and what he can do to stop it. He sees the ghost of his mother who would be about 57 if she was still alive and tells her son to be strong. She tells him that he misses her but Laurie tells her son that she will always live inside of him. She also tells him that he has to have faith and to find the remaining bloodline that baffles him and wonders who she is referring to and tries to ask her what she means but her ghost disappears before he can ask the question. John returns home to greet his wife Molly along with his twins Lauren in honor of his mother and Mason who are turning 17 and ask their father if they can have a Halloween party.
Remembering how both he and his mother encountered Michael at 17 in 78 and 98, he tells his children no because he doesn’t want to lose them like he lost his mother. Lauren tells her father she understands that he is concerned Michael might return and can’t live in fear of what could be. However Molly tells her daughter John is only doing what is best for his children and doing only what a good parent would be doing since the encounter of Michael was also a painful reminder for her as well. Lauren insists that her parents are being unfair and storms away in protest. John smiles remembering how stubborn he was towards his mother and Molly points out that Lauren is a lot like her father but John insists that is why she married him and Molly agrees that is what she loves about him and kisses him.
The Kitchen phone rings and Mason picks up the phone telling John that it is for him and he answers it. John picks up the phone and breaks down crying while Molly notices as she asks what happened. John informs her that Shirley and Ronny were both attacked and killed in their home. Molly asks John if she thinks Michael has returned and he admits yes but thinks there is something else at play much larger since he reveals the house was torched which is something his uncle would not do. John feels that now is the best time to find some answers and figure out what is going but before he can leave, a woman with brown hair tells John and Molly that they are in danger. John asks who she is and she reveals herself to be Lindsey Wallace. John remembers that his mother used to tell him as a kid how she babysitted her and Tommy Wallace but he asks her why is she here. Lindsey reveals that there is a powerful cult known as the Thorn Cult who have come back and to finish what they started back in 95 and reveals that Tommy along with Kara have been kidnapped and she has been trying to find them with no luck.
Lindsey sits down with both John and Molly telling them that surviving the 78 attack was a tough time for her as well and even remembers when Michael came back in 88 but John tells her that he doesn’t remember anything about that. Lindsey mentions that it is because the Thorn Cult erased all evidence of Michael’s wrath from 88-95 fearing the exposure it would cause them and Haddonfield even going as far as killing those associated it with the events or kidnapping them. Lindsey allows tells John that she knows he has been searching for answers towards his mother’s past and warns him that rehashing the past could have consequences but John asks her what is that she is hiding.
Lindsey looks at John with a sense of regret telling him that Jamie Lloyd was his sister and he stares at disbelief wondering why his mother would never tell him this but he seems to understand why his mother was very protective of him. She also reveals that Jamie had a son named Stephen who is now 23 years old and has been searching for his family for some time. Before she goes, Lindsey tells John that Laurie was a great person who wanted to tell him so much but feared the consequences if the whole truth was exposed to her son and tells him to find Stephen before Michael does.
