Anyone owns the soundtrack?

I am just curious. I actually tracked down the CD via Amazon Canada (I think), because the music impressed me that much. Christopher Gordon also wrote the soundtrack (or part of it) for "Master and Commander".
Lots of interesting musical ideas on there, finely tuned to the different scenes. I am amazed that the director/producers actually commissioned a full lenght soundtrack for a TV film and had it recorded with an orchestra.

My favourite piece is actually "The Great Ocean Road", which is accompanying the first trip to Moira's cottage in that red Ferrari, starting with a furious piece of percussion! I really need to get that new 5.1 hifi, my stereo hifi just doesn't do justice to this piece :-).

I have the CD and it is one of my favorites. Gordon's music harkens back to the Golden Age of film scoring when music actualy had melody, unlike so much of filmusic today. He also Scored the IMAX feature Sydney: A Story of a City and a television version of Moby Dick. I have CDs of both those and continue to be impressed by this underused composer. We corresponded briefly by email & He's a mostaffable guy. He also scored a tv remake of Salem's Lot which I have neither seen or heard.
