I've finally gotten my hands on the DVD. This is (I assume) the US edition on Echo Bridge (spine#28659). On my particular copy, there's a blank out at exactly 0:41:59 @ Chapter 4. This is when Towers is travelling on the train. Does this happen on anyone else's copy?

Having a movie with a manufacturing defect has nothing to do with that country you're from. My copy is flawless.

It's apparently a defect in (some of) this US edition. I have it, too, and it has a black out at the position you describe. My UK editon (region 2) does not have this defect.
