Sequel Synopsis


Its 20 years later. Jack and Kate have a couple of teenagers who are about to leave home.
Jack keeps having visions of the children from the "glimpse" out of the corner of his eye - in the street, in the mall etc etc. then he begins seeing his old bowling buddy.

One day is he is confronted by his old bowling buddy who reveals to Jack that he and the children have fled the glimpse and are now refugees in Jack's reality. Jack learns that Don Cheadle's character is actually a brilliant but flawed scientist. Don Cheadle has now gone insane after spending decades in a state of quantum flux after an accident in a physics lab. Don Cheadle is now systematically trying to destroy the alternative realties he created after his failed experiment. Jack learns all of the people he met in the glimpse are in grave danger.

Jack agrees to throw himself into a particle accelerator to re-materilise in Don Cheadle's plain of existence. They have a bowling match to determine who gets to take control of the universe. Jack wins.

Cut to a hospital. It is 1987. Jack is in a coma after his plane crashed. The life support machine is switched off but he is smiling. Kate and the bowling buddy are holding hands.

Fade to black.
