lame excuses...

i choose us blah blah..i haven't read all posts so i don't know if other people have talked about these things..

1. he had to stay in london for 1 year..i'm not sure of the duration but why not wait for him to come back? why ask him to stay when he's about to board the plane?i didn't see any reasonable excuse other than they love each other..him leaving doesn't mean they're breaking up...

2. they moved out of the city because of the kids..i think it's not a big deal to raise them in new york.. it's annoying that she wants to be a hardcore mom...family first and *beep* was about to make their lives more comfortable but she discouraged him..her reasons are important but in their situation, *sighs* everyone i know would go back to new york and live in that new flat instead of going back to their house..

3. cage didn't take the flight to meet bob and he convinced tea to go with him for coffee.. >.< it could still work if he simply did what she suggested.. ask her out when he's in paris...it's not as romantic but it's practical whether or not they get married and have kids..people do crazy things for love but......

4. i have tons of assumptions as to why they ended up like that in the glimpse..a non-profit lawyer and tire salesman is far from what they became when he took the flight..the *beep* jobs in the glimpse are one of the annoying parts of this movie..they are clearly capable of reaching the top...accepting the jobs they have in that glimpse is, with or without kids, caused by stupidity and masochism..the writers exaggerated what could have happened..it can't be that bad...
