The scenery was nice though. How did it get such good ratings? Good grief.
Wow, I can't believe this "movie" got the positive reviews it did. Stinkeroo is right. I even watched the whole thing based on some comments that it got much better at the end ... NOT!

It's for people who appreciate artsy, grim, realistic Westerns like “The Great Silence” (1968), "McCabe & Mrs. Miller" (1971), “Bad Company” (1972), “The Missouri Breaks” (1976), “Heaven’s Gate” (1980), “Unforgiven” (1992) and “North Star” (1996). It's as good or, in most cases, better than any of these.
