The only thing about this movie that's interesting is the homage scene to the film classic, The Graduate -- the scene with the large circular fountain while the Beetles song plays in the background. However, it's much more interesting to watch the far-better original than this silly ode to that film. Nothing redeeming about this.

Man, I came on here because I saw Jack Lemmon on TV and thought "hey, what's that movie he's in that's like Loser?" Loser is JUST LIKE The Apartment. When I saw the latter I remember being surprised by how many things it and Loser have in common.

except the apartment is a good film. although, i'll agree with some previous posters, i can't turn it off when it's on. has it's charms.
