dora's clothing

I have always been crazy about her costumes for this movie, and I have never been able to find any info about it. I was wondering if anyone knew what brand her coat, plaid skirt, and boots were, as well as the little sweater top with detachable sleeves..so cute, if not brand, somewhere I could find similar things. Thanks!

Similar skirts can be found at hot topic ( i have one in blue :) ). Boots you could try hot topic candies ( not sure if they still sell stuff like that but they used to). Really any store that sells "gothic" or "punk" style clothing.

Alas, I'm afraid Hot Topic seems to be fading away from the goth and punk styles and seems to be focusing more on the emo and hello kitty styles.

Fading away? It was never there.

Wow, post your picture in that blue skirt!

Look into industrial/cybergoth type clothing.

Considering that this movie is 9 years old, I'd check vintage stores.

... considering that the style is 9yrs old, it doesn't qualify as vintage.

Vintage is just a nicer way of saying used when talking about clothes. Try stores with names like "Dumpster Values", you can find lots of "older style" (I say vintage) clothing there. You'll have better luck finding what you're looking for, and it's way more affordable than some insipid mall chain.

Hot Topic, Spencer's, Spirit Halloween Store/Online, Goodwill, Buffalo Exchange, Saint Vincent DePaul's.. stores like that can carry clothing like hers.

I've gotten about 6 pairs of different types of platform mary janes from Goodwill Alone! :D

I got a fuzzy blue rave coat like the ones worn by Paul's roommates at Buffalo Exchange. :)

I loved her clothes and boots here too but you can find it on different stores, you don't have to buy the exact same ones from the same stores.
