Flowers??
Why did Paul buy those flowers, making it look like they came from Alcott? Why would Paul want to make him look good? Wouldn't Dora have dumped Alcott sooner if she had known that he didn't care about her being in the hospital?
shareBecause he likes Dora a lot and wanted her to be happy rather than upset because of Alcott. It had nothing to do whether she would see through his games or not- he just wanted her to be happy.
