TNT showing 'cropped' version-

Unless this film was made in the Super 35 format, which allows films to be shown both in full screen and widescreen format, TNT is currently pulling a fast one on us and showing a "cropped" version (a version with the top and bottom chopped off so that it will fit on a wide screen). This picture was made in 1999; there were very few (if any) "letterboxed" films made for television back then, and this movie was originally shown in full screen ratio. The DVD is also full screen, and no, the DVD manufacturers aren't cheating us.

The opening credits are different now, because I taped this off the air when it was first shown. It's the same sequence, but now the names are printed entirely in capital letters, which they weren't originally.
