'More for him, I say????'

In the scene at Fred's with the ghost of Christmas present, when everyone was bashing Scrooge, Betsy says, "More for him, I say." And Mr. Haynes seconds it... what does that phrase mean? I've heard it in other movies, but I can't seem to find anything out about it.

My ancestors were humans. Sorry to hear about yours.

Perhaps it's a derivative of "more's the pity"? A way of saying he'd brought all the unkindness upon himself and was worse off for it--and perhaps deserved some pity for being too stubborn to enjoy the Christmas festivities?
