Tiny tims's death

So with the ghost of Christmas Fututre, we see that Bob has just come home from visiting the graveyard. So we assume that tim was buried in the ground there. But then the next scene, tim is dead in his bed upstairs. What am i missing? Thanks

The ghost of Christmas past has nothing what so ever to do with Bob or his family.
That ghost is for Scrooges' past. We see that Tim is alive and well ( as well as he could be considering) when The Ghost of Christmas present visits. When we see Bob coming in with Tim, he was at Church (it being Christmas Day). The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, by this, Tim has sadly died.

Yeah, I meant Christmas Future ghost, not past. When they visit the Cratchits and Tim is dead, the body lies upstairs. So then where has Bob just come from??

Church? It being Christmas an all?

In most versions, he's been to pick out a spot in the church cemetery for Tiny Tim's grave. Bob usually has a line about picking a spot on the hill where Tim can "watch the ducks on the river" as he loved to do when he was alive.

That would be my guess, too.

The images that the ghosts show Scrooge are not necessarily shown in chronological order. Although the 1st vision the GOCP shows him is of himself at age 9 or 10 abandoned in school, and they do go progressively forward in time. We must not assume that the GOCYTC does the same. The future visions could easily be out-of-order.

This was a change from the book or at least most versions, where he does indeed visit the grave, but it's implied Bob has chosen a cemetery plot and they will then proceed with Tim's funeral.
