The Father is a Russian?
I remember watching this movie many years ago, and I remember him saying that in the Soviet Union, his son is not allow to eat for three days. Is he Russian?

His wife was complaining that they had locked up the kid for 3 days without food (as punishment) and the father was saying 'so what..they starve in soviet union for 3 days in a row'..he was just referring to the union but he doesnt belong there.
Gentlemen. You can't fight in here. This is the War Room.

Then why take him to the prostitute house?
shareIt's just the typical way parents like to bring up how kids in a perceived underdeveloped country have it worse than their own kids. Americans say "eat up, kids in China are starving", Chinese parents say "kids in India are starving" and Indian parents say "kids in Africa are starving" and so on.
