I really like what he says at the end about Malena, how out of all the lovers he had, he would never forget her. Does anyone know what exactly he says?

I don't like how he says he pedaled as fast as he could when he was clearly idly moving along and looking back at malena from time to time.

clearly his mind was absorbed so much in his feelings his fears his wishes that to him he was pedaling as fast as "he" could at "that" time so next time think what you would be like in same said circumstances

In the original Italian that's not really what he says. He uses the verb "fuggire" which is sort of "to flee" or figuratively "to fly away" - sometimes it's hard to translate things because something that's beautiful in one language obviously can't always translate literally into the other language

In the uncut version it's young Renato doing the voice-over which is a little awkward. How many lovers could a 14 year old boy have had? Ha.
