This may sound weird but i cried watching this movie at the scene where monica bellucci is beaten by so many women and no one turns up to help her although every man wanted to have her. It may have nude scenes but it doesn't matter as the message of the movie is so strong.

we men have created a hell for beautiful women. No one bothers to think what the women wants. We want to have her through her consent or by force. They cannot express themselves like we do. I know women who have gone through this. I request everyone to watch this movie for its message and not for the nude scenes.

I started respecting women more than I did after watching the movie.

Kudos to Monica Bellucci and the film maker for making such a movie.

Tht scene affected me greatly too but in all honesty I was empathizing with Malena in the 1st scene at the square where everyone was leering at her. It makes me appreciate my brother even more & my culture to an extent, my brother would never leer or stare at a woman like all the men & boys did in this movie. Nor is it popular for supposed decent guys to talk about a woman as they did of Malena in this town. I respect you for your empathy & understanding, IMO we need more guys like you!

We've talked about it quite often. He finds it disrespectful and lowly to do that. He looks but he does so discretely, he also makes sure it's subtle and not noticeable. We were not raised to act in such a manner.

Lol. Idk about that but we are a conservative traditional non Western family. So maybe a difference in culture.
