That's it. That's all I have to say: Malena's Renato is the boy version of Amelie.
Amelie wanted to help. Renato wants to get laid.
I love both movies.

I think you're way off! Couldn't even imagine similarities between the two movies. Especially the styles, couldn't be any more different.

Amelie: Her vision of a romantic fantasy.

After that, the plots go their very separate ways.
