I've seen some mentions on the internet when doing a google search, but have yet to find an actual working version?

no it was never remastered nor are there current plans to remaster

Yes. The U.K. Blu Ray is good but is heavily cut like in the US. The Italian blu Ray features the director's cut at 109 min.
