That whole sequence is hilarious.
It's surprising how the film's funniest moments involved the father -- I didn't expect him to provide some laughs after his 1st smacking scene. Some of his other best moments were "You're going to go blind!", "With a dick this big he needs to *beep*!", and of course the Pieta remark.
