Was Malena an empath?
Was she an empath? Why did these people talk about her and wanted to hurt her, she didn't do anything to them? I'm not saying beautiful people deserve better treatment but was it because she stood out?
shareShe was beautiful. And she was proud. and she was so OBVIOUSLY above the people in that stupid village. It's called jealousy, and it can be such a powerful thing. She drove men crazy with her unattainable beauty, and the women felt so threatened by her, especially after she became a widow. They saw her as competition. In this way jealousy can be a curse. I remember this girl in school; she had the most gorgeous long, blond hair. The other girls, and a couple boys, liked to put gum in it and spit on her. And I remember this boy who came from a wealthy family, and he dressed in really fancy, expensive clothes. The other boys liked to wait for him after school..so they could tear his clothes tp shreds.
