How they could have made PH better.

To me it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. What might have made it better would have been less plot and more facts. I don't remember that they devoted really anything in the movie to the audience learning a few facts about the event. News Reel technology was just coming online 100 years ago and in those following hundred years story telling and news has gotten not just worse by way worse.

I thought this was a great movie and at 3 hours long, I'm sure the families of the veterans all loved the movie and saw it as a great tribute to their lost loved ones

reply

Don't be so sure. My Gramps was in the war and he would have nothing to with movies that glorified it.

"I'm sure the families of the veterans all loved the movie"

And you'd be wrong. Most of the veterans hated it for it's lack of authenticity.

My dad was in the U.S. Navy in WWII. His first ship, U.S.S. Dobbin (AD-3) was anchored at Pearly Harbor during the attack. He thought this movie was crap.

Pay no attention to Millsey. He thinks that he is being witty when in fact he is being absurd.

Some of the veterans who fought at Pearl Harbor did not like the film. George Welch was one of those who thought the film was crap. Welch along with Kenneth Taylor took off from Haleiwa Airfield and shot down some Japanese aircraft.

My grandfather was a WWII vet and I'm retired USN. I did not like the film.

Have someone else directs film. anyones but michael baywatch. this film would be good without bay death touch. all he know is how to scream LOUD at audience like they morons. too fast edits and no stories telling. actors sound like they read chinese fortune cookies and not dialog. dont treat me like moron and i wont think your films is badly direct.
