BluRay Disc - 2046 (2004) Discussion

Yeah this so needs to be on Blu-ray, along with In The Mood For Love.

Totally agree that both 2046 and In The Mood For Love need a blu-ray release. Can't believe these aren't already announced in that format.

In The Mood For Love is now available on Bluray, but not 2046 AFAIK.

I got 'Days OF Being Wild' on Blu-ray which I find ideal. It is a great film on Blu-ray and so is 'Ashes:Redux' and 'Blueberry Nights'. Infact with cinematography from Doyle it's a sin not to be on HD. I am stalling on getting some of the domesitc dvd releases as I'd prefer to import from Hong kong on Blu-ray or wait for a local uk release like I do with some films. I can wait just don't have the knowledge of when which is frustrating.

I see Blue-Ray's of Asian films all the time. But I'm told that they aren't actually Blu-Ray, only labeled such.

Unless one can imagine a Blu-Ray costing $7.00-$10.00.

Region 1 Blu has been announced by Sony. No date yet, but its coming!

Possibly the most beautiful film I have ever seen. Nowhere near the best movie nor Wai's best work imo, but the look of it is incandescent

I'm not sure when it happened but Starz on-demand is listing an HD version of 2046 available now! I have DirecTV and recording it now!
