I had a college professor who started me doing this.
Watch for the number 13 and or 7. The numbers usually add up to 13 or 7 if the film maker or author wants it that way. Of course it happens naturally too. One show I saw had all of the police cars' ID numbers in the big finale scene (4 or 5 of them) add up to 7. Not a coincidence.
Anyway the number on Malcolm's house is 12334.
Those numbers add up to 13.
