This is one of those movies...

That is so bad, it's almost good.

This movie is way over the top, admittedly stupid, poorly acted, poorly written, and honestly very fun to watch. It doesn't hold up to many of the other Friday movies in terms of horror for sure, but sometimes a horror movie is more fun when it's admittedly bad.

I don't know if the intention was for us to laugh at this movie, but I laughed at a lot of different parts. The cheesy puns, the gruesome kills, the whole plot being silly. It's about Jason in space, how does that pitch even get by the producers?

Overall, as far as horror is concerned, not the least bit frightening. But combine it with a case of beer and two or three of your best friends, and Jason X is a very enjoyable film.
