I saw this in theaters when I was 12 years old

My older brother took me to see it and I thought it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen. Actually, I remember finding it to be kind of scary. I'm watching it now on AMC's fear fest movie marathon and it's still a heck of a lot of fun.

Anyone else remember seeing this in theaters?

I was 10. Like you, my brother took me. We were the only people there, aside from some guy in the back row sleeping. I knew it wasn't serious, and we were laughing our asses off the whole movie. Especially the sleeping bag scene.

The best part was the Halloween Resurrection trailer coming on. I was a huge Halloween fan at the time and didn't even know they were making a new one.

Saw it the day it opened 4/26/02, I was going on 23 at the time and I thought it was pretty cool

I remember that the trailer for Halloween: Resurrection came on during the previews and when it was over someone in the audience yelled "FVCK Michael Myers!" and everybody roared laughing

Jason X was waaaaay better than Resurrection was!

I saw it when I was 12 as well. My best friend at the time and I used to watch the Friday movies every chance we got(they were on TV a LOT back then). I was in a stupor of joy when I saw the teaser for this, and I was not disappointed. Fun movie. Still love it. Crazy that that was half of my life ago.

I'll take a potato chip... And EAT it!
