It looks like they integrated the cheerleaders as well as the football team. I would have loved to see some of the drama that went along with that. I think that would have made for a very interesting sequel.

Yeah it would have but I'm not sure if the squad was integrated in real life though. In most segreated schools, some activities were integrated while others weren't. Sports were one of the first, so in real life the cheerleading squad probably wasn't integreted until years later.

Ha! Had the same thought! I'd have watched. Not sure if the cheerleading coaches would have been as inspiring as Boone/Yost though.
