How did Avon find the time ....

He might have had a lot of time on his hands, or ran the drug empire later on, or had people help him, but really football even high school football, and I think it was the same way in the 70's, it is a shorter season then college or NFL, where in the tow latter levels a team will at least a bye week, I believe college has 2 of them, but High School football has far as I am aware of today, is only 9 weeks long for a regular season and then you have a few weeks of playoffs and I think it depends on the state. And well pratices are different depending on the head coach on how he feels how much pratice team he thinks his team needs.

Obviously Avon's High School days came before he established his drug empire. Maybe Gary Beriter's death had such a profoundly negative impact on his psyche that he turned his life over to the drug trade.

Maybe it was just all the blatant racism and struggle that led him to that decision. Just wonder what Boone would have thought of that... but by then Boone had moved West and became a crooked LAPD cop himself. So who really knows?
