Anybody else watch this in school a million times?

Is it just my school system that's super into this movie, or does anybody else out there have to watch Remember the Titans in, say, Social, Gym, Religion, English, you name it... This movie is apparently a teacher's dream and I had to watch it at LEAST once a year from about grades eight through eleven, at two different schools. (Not that that's a bad thing; I like Remember the Titans... y'know, the first 5 or 6 times...)

Just watched it today in school! We had a long advisory, so the teachers just put that movie in, haha.

Feel old as *beep* can't believe this movie came out over a decade ago now.

I swear this movie was always shoved down our throats when I was in middle school and it got old really quick. I was in middle school when the movie came out I remember we watched this in my English class on VHS!

Funny how the only other movies I remember watching my middle school and high school career were:

Romeo and Juilet (Both the 68 and Leonardo DiCaprio version)
MacBeth (71 version)
Becket
The Crucible
October Sky
Schindler's List
The Grapes of Wrath
Amadeus

I had to watch it at least three or four times. Not complaining, it's one of my favourites.

Not in school, but I got to watch it on every bus trip to a game for years. I love this movie still.

I had to watch once in health education class.
I actually like and probably would never watched it otherwise (as I really don't football much)

Watched it for the first time in history today. Really good movie for what it's about, and really good actors (Ryan Gosling, Donald Faison, whoever played Gary)

In school? Sure.
Maybe not once every other month because I own it on DVD.
Nope. NOt it.

You don't know me.
You only think you do.

reply

I watched it at least twice in high school, and I grew up in Toronto, Ontario.
