This movie doesn't reflect the civil rights
struggles I witnessed in the late 60's up through the late 70's, but holy shjt is it good movie!! It may be a comic book interpretation, but it sure makes ya feel good all over! Gave it an 8
shareThis movie doesn't reflect the truth about what happened at T.C. Williams high school during that time period. I went to T.C. from 1968-1971 and this movie was complete *beep*. Many former Titans share that opinion, especially those of us who were there at the time.
T.C. was built to bridge the racial gap between George Washington HS and Francis Hammond HS. GW was primarily black, Hammond very white.
Yea, yea, yea, it's Hollywood, but damn, change the history to create a role for Denzel Washington? Yes, we were offended.
