I know ill get called a troll but I think this movie is overrated. Definitely a good movie but so overrated and almost every simple sports movie is patterned after it. This is definitely the most quality but it seems like every sports movie is going for something like this and they dumb it down and make it all hunky dory and black and white. Just kind of lame. 42 comes to mind.

shareWow!! Your totally missing basically the who main point of the movie, yes it's a sports movie, but it's about the real life things that happened with integration, good and bad. Football is just what brought the boys together, the school and eventually the town. I don't see how that is cheesy.
